 Tribhuvan University has published a notice for online application for 46th TU Convocation. TU has invited applications from students to participate in the 46th Convocation Ceremony. TU has published a notice requesting applications from interested students to participate at the convocation. According to TU, Students who have passed the undergraduate, postgraduate and MPhil levels and have completed the doctorate in semester or annual examination system in between 2076 Ashad 1 and 2077 Jestha 32, can apply to participate in the ceremony to be held in the month of January. It has been said that the application form should be filled online by November 20, 2020. To participate in the ceremony, undergraduate students have to pay Rs 3,700, postgraduate and MPhil students Rs 4,200 and doctoral students Rs 4,700. Supreme Court (SC) has issued a short-term interim order not to implement the NEB new curriculum for grade 11 and 12 immediately. A single bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Purushottam Bhandari, summoned both the parties for discussion on November 10 and issued a short-term interim order not to implement the course immediately. The court has asked to keep the status quo of the National Curriculum for School Education, 2076 without implementing it until the final order is finalized from the discussion. Bhagwata Aryal and others had filed writ petitions against the curriculum development center, Pokhara University, Midwest, Far West, Eastern Region, Kathmandu and Agriculture and Forest Science University. In the preliminary hearing of the writ petition, the apex court has also asked the opposition to submit a written reply within 15 days on the reasons for implementing the new curriculum.  Minister for Education, Science and Technology Mr. Giriraj Mani Pokharel has instructed the National Examination Board (NEB) to prepare for the Class 12 examination to be attended online from wherever the students are. Minister for Education Giriraj Mani Pokhrel today instructed the board officials at the Singha Durbar-based ministry to ensure that the students meet the health criteria from where they are and join the examination. Minister Pokharel has instructed the concerned school to provide the facility through mobile data to the students in case of any problem in the internet and write the test on the board, said Minister Pokharel’s secretariat member Mr. Binod Neupane.   National Examinations Board (NEB) has recently published model question paper for the upcoming examination of class 12 to be held from Mangsir 9, 2077 ( Download Routine ).  Students of class 12 will be able to take the examination from the home center. Chairman of the National Examination Board (NEB), Chandra Mani Poudel said that students can take the exam from the center of the school where they have studied. The exam will be held from 8 am to 9:30 am for 1 hours 30 minutes. The exam given by the student will be of 40 marks . The board has stated that the remaining 40% will be done through internal assessment of class 11 and 20% through class 12 . All the examinations conducted by NEB was cancelled due to covid-19 pandemic.
