Notice Regarding Regular Classes and Examination of Pokhara University - 2077

It is well known that the overall educational environment of Pokhara University has been affected for the past seven months due to the infection and risk of the Novel Corona Virus (Covid-19) which has spread like a global epidemic. In addition to the vacancy of Vice Chancellor and Registrar for more than a year, almost all important posts are gradually becoming vacant in the university. Everyone is aware.

The only major responsibility of the university is to regularize and control the academic curriculum while maintaining the institutional development and academic environment and minimizing the damage so that the educational activities are completed within the stipulated time. Therefore, we have no choice but to facilitate the reading and examinations according to the situation while facing the unusually difficult situation and securing the future of the students.

Therefore, taking into account the additional responsibilities created by the situation, alternative appropriate means are required to conduct regular educational and academic activities using as many techniques as possible as directed by the Government of Nepal, as well as the progress of online teaching and examinations in all the colleges of the University. A study committee has been formed to study and submit a report on the subject and on the basis of the report submitted by the same study committee, all the affiliated, affiliated and affiliated colleges of the university have been informed with instructions to prepare for the study and examination of the university as per details.

Details

  • According to the current academic progress in the colleges, the academic activities including the internal evaluation of the academic sessions currently being conducted online by different levels of different faculties will be completed by Dec 31, 2020 and the graduation by Jan 15, 2021 respectively.
  • In order to manage the online educational activities of the colleges in this educational session, the educational activities will be conducted as per the rules even between Dashain and Tihar.
  • The remaining final examinations of the last session will be conducted by giving prior notice and the educational activities of the session which is currently being conducted online will be conducted in point no. As mentioned in 1, two more weeks will be given to complete the educational activities including lab, practical, field visit of the current session and after 10 days the internal evaluation process will be taken forward and the final examinations will be conducted.

Online Application for 46th TU Convocation

 Tribhuvan University has published a notice for online application for 46th TU Convocation. TU has invited applications from students to participate in the 46th Convocation Ceremony. TU has published a notice requesting applications from interested students to participate at the convocation. According to TU, Students who have passed the undergraduate, postgraduate and MPhil levels and have completed the doctorate in semester or annual examination system in between 2076 Ashad 1 and 2077 Jestha 32, can apply to participate in the ceremony to be held in the month of January. It has been said that the application form should be filled online by November 20, 2020. To participate in the ceremony, undergraduate students have to pay Rs 3,700, postgraduate and MPhil students Rs 4,200 and doctoral students Rs 4,700.
