Supreme Court (SC) has issued a short-term interim order not to implement the NEB new curriculum for grade 11 and 12 immediately. A single bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Justice Purushottam Bhandari, summoned both the parties for discussion on November 10 and issued a short-term interim order not to implement the course immediately. The court has asked to keep the status quo of the National Curriculum for School Education, 2076 without implementing it until the final order is finalized from the discussion. Minister for Education Giriraj Mani Pokhrel today instructed the board officials at the Singha Durbar-based ministry to ensure that the students meet the health criteria from where they are and join the examination.
